    CHPL will be open from 9am to 12pm on Thursday, August 28. The library will be closed for the remainder of the service day and all day on Friday, August 29 for staff training.

    Patrons now have online access to 400 PBC programs. All you need is your library card and the current NC LIVE password.

  • Staff Development Day
    Aug. 28th, 12:00pm - 9:00pm
    The library will be open from 9am to 12pm on Thursday, August 28. The library will be closed for the remainder of the service day and all of Friday, August 29 for staff training. The library will reopen on Saturday, Aug 30 at 9am. No books are due during this time. Also, books that are already overdue will not be assessed additional fines for these two days.
